Peach Cobbler

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour, un-sifted    4 tsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water   2 tsp. baking powder
5 tsp. FASWEET   1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups fresh sliced peaches   1/2 cup shortening
2 Tbs. margarine   1/2 cup ice water

In mixing bowl stir flour, baking powder and salt together.  Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives.  Gradually add water, stirring it in with a fork.  Dough should be moist enough to form into a ball.  On a lightly floured cloth or board, roll out about 2/3 of the dough large enough to cover the bottom and sides of a 9-inch baking dish.  Fit pastry into dish.  Put cornstarch in a saucepan; gradually add water while stirring.  Add FASWEET and peaches.  Bring to a boil and let boil 5 minutes; pour into pastry shell.  Dot top with margarine.  Roll out remaining pastry; cut into one-half inch strips and cover peaches in criss-cross fashion.  Bake at 3750 for 45 minutes.  Serve warm.  Serves 8.
