Applesauce

1 lb. cooking apples   1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Water   Dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. FASWEET   1 tsp. lemon juice

Wash, pare, core and slice apples.  Place in saucepan and add just enough water to barely cover.  Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until apples are tender.  Add remaining ingredients, simmer 5 minutes longer.  Serves 4
